Julie Satow is an award-winning journalist and author. A regular contributor to the New York Times, her work has also appeared on National Public Radio, Travel + Leisure, and elsewhere. Her first book, The Plaza: The Secret Life of America's Most Famous Hotel, was a New York Times Editor's Pick and NPR Favorite Book of the Year. She brings us her New York Times Best Seller, When Woman Ran Fifth Avenue: Glamour and Power at the Dawn of American Fashion, a glittering, glamorous portrait of the golden age of American department stores
and of three visionary women who led them.
Marta Sanders was in the original Broadway company of “ The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas”. She has won Bistro and MAC Awards for “ Outstanding Female Vocalist” , “Consumate Cabaret Artistry” and “ Lifetime Achievement Award”. Marta will be singing at the 35th Cabaret Convention on 10/22, and at the TRIAD with Leanne Borghesi as “SHOWBROADS”, on Nov 16 and 17. Nicolas Perez will accompany Marta.
