JOE BARROS is an award-winning queer director, choreographer, writer, and a pioneer of the development of original musicals globally. Broadway/Off-Broadway: Gigi, Cagney, Bastard Jones, The Evolution of Mann. Nat’l Tours/Regional/Int’l: A Charlie Brown Christmas, Beaches, Aida (Singapore), plus Goodspeed, DC’s Signature Theatre, TheatreWorksUSA, The Phoenix Theatre Company. Choreography for Film: The Girl Who Left Home (with Paolo Montalban), Petunia (with Michael Urie), Mangus (with Jennifer Coolidge). Artistic Director: New York Theatre Barn (18 seasons). Co-Writer: Winner (JMF Writers Grove at Goodspeed, workshop in London) and Yasuke: The Legend of the Black Samurai (directed by JoAnn M. Hunter)
MODERATOR, ROBIN GORMAN NEWMAN won her first Tony/Drama Desk/Outer Critics Circle Award as a producer on the Best Musical Revival of Parade in 2023. She was a producer on The Great Comet (Tony award nominated), Fat Ham (Tony award nominated), The Who's Tommy (Tony award nominated), and is currently on the producer team of Cabaret (Tony award nominated), Buena Vista Social Club, Smash, Dead Outlaw, Parade national tour and Museum of Broadway. Robin is VP of the Board of New York Theatre Barn, and has conceived/led panels for BroadwayCon and is a member of The Drama League. She is currently in early development, with a theatre colleague, on a musical inspired by Robin’s book HOW TO MARRY A MENSCH. Robin has been seen on CNN, Today, Good Day New York, and has done talkbacks with Off Broadway shows as a Love Coach.
ERIC COMSTOCK & BARBARA FASANO are a dynamic New York-based jazz duo known for their compelling performances and impeccable musicianship. Comstock, a pianist and vocalist, has built a reputation for his inventive interpretations of the Great American Songbook. Fasano, a celebrated vocalist, brings a captivating blend of warmth, elegance, and storytelling to every performance. Together, they have performed at renowned venues such as Birdland and the Café Carlyle, and have earned praise for their seamless vocal and instrumental collaboration. Their chemistry, musical versatility, and deep appreciation for jazz and standards make them a standout duo in the contemporary jazz scene.
